Anqing CSSC Diesel Engine Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ACD) was first established in 1960. Subordinate to China State Shipbuilding Corporation ,it is a CSSC manufacturing base for medium and small bore diesel engines and a safeguard base for diesel engine key components. ACD has an annual production capacity of 600 diesel engines.

ACD began to import Daihatsu Japan’s diesel engine manufacturing technology in 1981 and has been producing “Anqing-Daihatsu” DK��DC��DE series marine diesel engines and generator sets ever since. In 2012, ACD made joint investment with Caterpillar and established a joint venture: CSSC Motoren Anqing-Kiel Co.Ltd, which produces CMAK M20, M25 diesel engines.
